What next ? That poor poor bird. He will hate MIL forever now. How dare she ... Merlin needs his Ballz. Did his ballz have bellz in them ? I bet ya MIL hated the sound of Merlin playing with his Dingalingalings all day long. MIL is a killjoy. She just hates to see anyone have a good time especially if she ain't in on it. And I bet Merlin wasn't givin MIL no BALLZ action !

NickNack calm down I told her to take his balls away with the bells in them he kept sitting on them and not leaving them they were like a mirror at this point for comfort and he started to get that look of MY BALLS & over protection. He will be fine , I told her she has to hand feed his veggies hehe...so he remains very tame and gets used to her.

I think you need to visit Merlin more often Elly. He's so STRESSED ... heck I'm so stressed worried about him.

 

I'm sure MIL is loving the hand feeding veggies & whatnots to your little boy. I hope she isn't using industrial welders gloves on her hands when she hand feeds him !

I saw him yesterday, my husband is going over there to fix a faucet so he will see him today too , I talked to her today she said he is 1 spoiled bird, when she eats he eats (Laughing out loud), he is also talking there too so she heard pretty baby

The ceiling in the kitchen is finished, they are going to do 2 bedrooms tommorrow. Tim says she taught him kissy kissy and he is saying it already I said yeah right he said let her believe it she is so in love with him. To answer your question - when I went over there, I was a little jealous to see that Milly was responding to the friend looking after her (I didn't have Squee at this point). Then she saw me. I knew she had been pampered and cuddled, but she raced up to me, pushing on the bars and fluffing her head for scritchies. She was fine though, she just missed me! I also had some trouble convincing this friend to give her back!

So it was all fine, just be sure to make constant check-ups and make certain the sitter knows the essential do's and don'ts :hap:

Sounds like MIL will have to get a budgie when Merlin leaves and comes back home.Trust Merlin to win MIL over though,he is such a gorgeous budgie!

She won't get one she loves to watch them, she said she has had her share of pets, her and my FIL like to get up and go and not worry about pets so I know they will resist :budgiedance:.

You are fortunate for MIL & FIL being free like that Elly. They can pet sit .. kid sit . or house sit if need be. And they can just get up & get gone. No tie downs.

She won't watch the dogs or cats though and that is what I need too (Laughing out loud)....only something simple like Merlin. The kids here and there I don't take advantage of anyone

I'll come take care of your cats & dogs. & Merlin too. FREE OF CHARGE ... well almost Free of Charge. You'll just have to have a delivery truck bring me donuts as long as I stay. And have an Ambulance parked in the driveway 24-7 in case I go into cardiac arrest from the donuts.

I will make Cabela manly like a beefed up Marine Soldier Dog ... Able to take on the toughest dogs on the block. Hopefully all them toughest dogs are really old & little Chihuahuas with walking canes, arthritis, glaucoma & kinda deaf. Don't want Cabela's head to swell with all his Macho-ness !

(Laughing out loud) I lost the battle even though it is not a dress. Merlin is settling nicely at my MIL, I visited him today. He ran up to me and flirted with my nose. I have learned that he likes FIL more now then MIL :hap: so all is well.

I figured I will have him back by mid week or next weekend, my office is being done today which is the last room and where he stays so I would like all the paint fumes out of the house. I hope I can figure when that is (Laughing out loud) because I can't smell them anymore. So all the painting will be done and my spoiled bird is more spoiled then ever now.
