Posted March 10, 200817 yr I used to do a daily blog of life in my aviaries on here...all the ins and outs of the day...relationships in the aviary, chciks hatched etc etc. Here is part one............http://forums.budgiebreeders.asn.au/index.php?showtopic=10863&hl=budgiebird+hilton and here is part 2 .........http://forums.budgiebreeders.asn.au/index.php?showtopic=12692&hl=budgiebird+hilton Today begins PART 3 I have 22 breeding cages going right now all in various stages of eggs, chicks, budgie bonking etc. I am about to catch up some more birds for breeding as they are all going mad in the aviaries and pairing up. I have about 150 to 200 birds in the aviary I think. Here are the lacewing chicks of pet type MING and her show type boy ( no name ) ....you guys can come up with a name for MINGS boy :hap: A nice pair Here is a cute little grey green spangle baby still getting its feathers. It was not being well looked after by its mother so it went into a foster nest. This is its real Dad and its foster Dad and the chick belonging to the foster Dad I call her B*TCH as she bites really really hard :budgiedance: Both those chicks are still in the nest. Here are two nice grey hen chicks just fledged Mum is a normal grey and dad is a grey dominant pied. ******More to follow. I will add to each day Edited March 11, 200817 yr by KAZ

March 10, 200817 yr Author I call her B*TCH as she bites really really hard Heh, sounds like my Sherbet Quick question, why are their beaks a browny colour? Some chicks have a lot of melanin and that gives them a black beak...it goes away after a few weeks. Some top breeders in the world have said they always keep the black beaked ones
