Posted March 7, 200817 yr Hi all, Well as I can't reach the recently trimmed peppermint tree branches in my area it was time to look further afield. I discovered a lovely bunch of fresh, young peppermint trees next to the foothpath on the way to my hydrotherapy pool. I packed secateurs in my back pack ready for my next trip to the pool. This is the result... Looky, looky, nice young peppermint trees.. Cut nice branches.. Fill up the bag... Tie on the loot... Munch.... (Look carefully, there is a dilute birdy in peppermint heaven) Crunch... Mmmmmmm..... Feathers.
March 7, 200817 yr you steal...................nnnaaahhhh not you :fear :hap: your budgies are loving it
March 7, 200817 yr you steal...................nnnaaahhhh not you your budgies are loving it You have much more faith in humanity Birdluv…letting her make you believe that it’s all very innocent…”The Great Peppermint heist” I believe that girl will do anything for her feathered friends…in fact I’m really surprised that there still is a Peppermint tree growing that luxuriant in WA from the reports that I get on this web site. The only thing I can understand is why she does it…look at how good those birds look, how happy they are…I wish there was some Peppermint growing here, but those selfish WA types seem to be keeping it all to themselves. I've heard they have a collective name for them "Sand Groupers" sand because there's nothing much but sand there [& a few mutilated Peppermint trees] & groupers is a kind of fish, but fish need water & I wouldn't think there's much of that left over there with the temperatures they have been having this year...okay after that I'm off to hide before I'm violently attacked.
March 7, 200817 yr I just want to warn you Feathers ... someone has reported you to the local Police Station. I don't know who it was. But the Police have photos of you & your theft. Don't worry. We will all write to you in prison. I will make sure we send you a cake ! A peppermint cake !
March 7, 200817 yr is it possible to steal PUBLIC property You did well with a speedy get away! haha AND your birds look like they LOVE it!
March 8, 200817 yr I wouldn't say steal....perhaps borrowed for an indefinate period of time . Either way, your budgies look like they are thouroughly enjoying pigging out on peppermint .
March 8, 200817 yr Dont worry...I am sure Feathers had on her Public Landscaping Officer disguise in case she was questioned. But she has this really innocent look about her and the biggest widest smile you have ever seen.....noone would dare not let her get her way. And I have seen how fast she goes in that electric wheelchair, so a fast getwaway would be a sure thing. Good job Feathers !! Edited March 8, 200817 yr by KAZ
