:) Love the 'do' Ken!!! I'm thinking of a new piercing... Book me in for 4pm Friday okay??? (I'll bring the cake (Laughing out loud))

Kaz,

the bub s are looking great. As for Ken with "your" Princess babies... too cute. Ken is looking a bit "bikie-ish" these days, isn't he?

Feathers.

awesome pics tell Ken he looks so thrilled  I can see you saying Ken just stand there and let me get a picture :)

That new hair do has gotta hurt…I guess the ear piecing too…happy hols Ken.

I’m having similar situations with my Budgies when I go in the aviary, you can easily see why they are such good hand pets, as mine without any training land on me & my head or come up to me & try the bite test…(Laughing out loud)…

Your babies look very cute. i love their light colour :D

Roll-on more feathers - It's great to see the development of not-so-common types :D

He has threatened to shave off the beard during his holidays, but last time he did that he hated it :D

Gorgeous parents. I cant wait to see the babies with more colour too.....how exciting. I dont have any lacewings either, so I would be beside myself (Laughing out loud). Love the Princess pics, Ken looks SO impressed :(Laughing out loud):

those chicks are looking so big and healthy will be fun seeing them feather more

I agree... they're too cute for words!!!!! :):(:D

Cant wait to see more pics as they grow!!

Will their markings get darker as they grow and after their first moult Kaz?

Yes. Their mother MING was sold to me as an Albino and it wasnt until she moulted that her cinnamon markings showed up :(

In these ones there are feint lines on their wings which may not show in the photos all that well. We will watch them evolve

Looking good Kaz, but no sign in the picture of the lacewing markings. Chucked out my Lacewings eggs yesterday, [infertile] my show breeder friend gave me some fertile eggs & three chicks yesterday, as he is going away & couldn’t look after them, they are from some good birds he bough this year from a big breeder.

The lacewing markings are kicking in on the eldest two chicks but the flash on the camera washed it out in this photo.......three chicks underneath these two

Very nice Kaz, the parents are they normal type lacewings as opposed to a opaline marked lacewing. I think mine must be opaline as they are not as well marked. I haven't breed them before so am at a bit of a lose? I can see the wing markings on the far chick on it looks like a normal. I have bought a lacewing cock at a recent auction so will pair the two together later, as he is only 5 months. Then look at breeding splits.

Again nice youngans!

Funny....I have never really thought about whether or not they were normal or opaline :rip:

I will have to check

I dunno the difference between opaline or normal but those two are two of the best lookng budgies I've ever seen. I can't wait to see what their chicks turn out like.
