The plan was to build my 'big aviary' in the fernery after the renovations were done, but the other day dad and I were having a chat over feeding the animals and we came up with a brilliant idea (I think it's brilliant anyway ).

 

Turn our spa into an aviary! (it's not as strange as it sounds, really.)

 

We have an 8 seater spa set in a gazebo type structure, which we don't have any time to use and so we've been meaning to sell it (though with the drought we might have a few difficulties).

 

This is what it looks like:

 

The photos don't really do it justice, it is massive, plus it will need alot of work and probably won't get done for many months or years.

But I'm still very excited and have been making plans in my head for days!

sounds like a wonderful idea! thats how my aviary was constructed kind of... onto the frame of part of our add on pergola Works well!

Thanks guys, I can't wait and am very excited. I've start picking out spots for toys, and I stand there thinking "I could put a perch from here to here and some rope there"

But I shouldn't get too carried away because it won't happen for a while yet! .

 

Though I may try and get grandpa in on it and we can start a bit earlier, the only problem is we will need to move the spa when we sell it, so I don't want to do most of it up, only to have to rip it down again.

Done deal, (Laughing out loud).Though we may have a bit of an issue with transport, plus the fact that the gazebo isn't ready for budgies yet *forlorn sigh* .

I wish we could, but we really have no where to keep a huge spa . (I already bought it up with dad).
