Branches In Aviary.

Featured Replies

Hi all :) ,

I just went down to the bush today and found a branch about to fall off a tree. I don't know what type of tree it came off but I washed it and let it dry in the sun. It has a bit of bark on it and the birds love ripping and nibbling it. The birds are starting to get used to it now, here's some pictures :( .

Thats an awesome branch!! looks like a native too!!! :)

After the initial... WHAT did u just put in our house??? it looks like they're loving it. Great stimulation and great for their feet and beaks. :)

Yeah, they were so... scared when we were putting it through :( .

:) Mine do that too, like a kangaroo in head lights! It's funny how quickly their need to check it out over powers their fear of the NEW ITEM :D

:). Yeah, and it was Canary, Stevie that got used to the branch faster than the budgies!!! (We put a little one in Stevies cage) ^

(Laughing out loud)... and it's funny how as soon as one budgie checks it out, then they all do. I wonder if they all sit there saying..."I did it last time guys... I thought we'd agreed to take it in turns"

Looks great little one! and yes i agree, definatly looks native :)
