I noticed over the past week that Blinkie and Ozzie both have a kink in their tail, right at the end. I suspected some kind of foul play on Fizzy's part, because his tail is perfectly straight and kink free. Ozzie's tail is bent much worse, and yesterday while i was laying on the lounge feeling sorry for myself (i've got the flu, yuck!) i saw criminal master mind, Fizzy, at work! :(Laughing out loud): He has a yellow swing which he loves to sit on and put his head in the bell that's on it. Yesterday Ozzie hopped on and right away Fizzy raced to the perch beneath it and grabbed his tail and started pulling him back and forth. Ozzie likes the swing more than Blinkie, which would explain why Ozzie's tail is worse off than Blinkie's! It was rather hilarious to see, if i didn't know Fizzy better i would've sworn he was trying to help his friend to swing.

They are funny little things budgies.

Both Monty and Happy have a kink in their tail at this time, don't know if it is related to moulting which has been happening a LOT!!!

Sometime soon I have a visit planned to see ROCKY ...one of my budgie babies that lives with a friend. Rockey has a superb vocabulary and we are trying to record him talking. You can hear him clear across a room.....about a hundred phrases or more. I also have to try and video him while he is doing it...not an easy task :hap:

They never seem to perform for the camera, do they? :hap: Or in front of guests for that matter. I can say to my friends how friendly and chatty my birds are, and then they come over and suddenly the birds all go quiet and shy.

Yeah... they're sneaky little buggers. We used to have an indoor budgie named Rodger. He had a massive vocab list, esp when we sat around the kitchen table, but never in front of guests (unless he didn't know they were there :hap: )

I hope you're able to get a video, though I understand perfectly what you mean about them not 'performing' for guests and then it makes you look pretty stupid, I swear they do it on purpose sometimes, little buggers .

it is so funny the way budgies relate to each other, i could spend all day watching mine play.
