Posted December 30, 200717 yr Hen from earlier in the year- she really surprised me at how she turned out, bit of flecking but parents are both clean head birds. Older brother pulling a strange face- had him inside for a bit and lurves a scratch Doing his best Hunchback of NotreDame impression youngsters fledged in the last few days Not sure where the lute came from!! I must have picked an egg up in the aviary I dont remember. oops Little grey, photo doesnt really show him but he is quite nice and should grow into a nice bird.
December 30, 200717 yr Beautiful babies. You have some to be very proud of. Legrings, and showing next
December 31, 200717 yr hey Pie, great photos. In the 3rd photo there looks to be a grey spangle at the back on the right. Is it? Do you have a photo? Close up?
December 31, 200717 yr Author He is the dad- grey cinnamon spangle Havent got any already done of him- here is a few I have. Also an old picture of the youngest, just like dad.
December 31, 200717 yr see now to me, he is agood looking bird. I love the combination of a strong primary grey or blue, or espcially violet with the white wings. I suppose in show terms as a spangle he is not dark enough, but to me, that is how i prefer them. keep us update with shots of the little one. I look forward to seeing how he/she turns out.
January 1, 200817 yr Author He does show up quite light- he is from a line of cinnamons I have here, and I agree he is quite good looking- except at the moment he has an orange face from feeding/softfood and has a reddy/pink tinge to his feathers from our red dirt up here.!! Got some pics of the young fella today - just like dad!! and this little one again as he gets cuter by the day Edited January 1, 200817 yr by the pie
January 29, 200817 yr Author All yours mate- when you coming to get them?? (Laughing out loud) To be honest I havent seen my birds for a good few weeks so it'll be interesting to see what they are like when I get home. If they are alive after the 44/45C we have had up there. Should be home this weekend to see them.
