I've finished work now for two weeks so got started on making some toys for the budgies and tiels. Here are heaps of photos of the toys and Bert & Ernie playing with them. The budgie tend not to be too interested, but the teils took 3 mins. They couldn't help themselves (Laughing out loud)

 

 

 

Looks like it's a hit! There are two more toys in their avairy (which I've renamed Sesame Street (Laughing out loud)) but they havn't found them yet...

They havn't found the spoon one yet, but I have it near the side of the avairy, so it should get some sun(and shine) and I'm 100% sure ernie will have to check it out!... Thanks everyone... they don't seem to be into the spoon one at all, apart from chewing the beads a little. Always the way!!! Oh well.

Perhaps they need a bit of time to get used to it.

A month or two after I got Skittles I bought him a rope toy, he wouldn't go near it for 3 whole months :bluebudgie: . Finally, I bought him a bell to coax him onto it.

:bluebudgie: (Laughing out loud)... sounds like bert. (Although I did catch him talking to the spoons the other day.) He's either a bit of a wuss or a little slow. He waits for ernie to make sure whateva is new is not going to eat him, hurt him, scare him or touch him, and then he joins in the fun. Ernie is like his little road tester... if ernie says it's okay, then it is!!!!
