Dad ( JAFFA ) broke his leg during the raising of the babies and did not once stop feeding them or looking after them. See his left leg and the broken area that is healing.

These two were on Ken in the aviary tonight...on his shoulders and head...Poor Ken. He had one biting his gold chain around his neck and the other was nibbling his ears. Then they both got on his bald head and he was complaining about their sharp claws. Everytime he would put them down to leave the aviary, he would get as far as the door and the two of them would fly to him and get back on......stuck to him like VELCRO.

absoloutly gorgeous kaz!! i love your grey dominant pied bub the best :hap:

all wonderful pictures Kaz

I don't know my canaries but I love the yellow/orange one beautiful coloration.

They all look good Kaz, I like those crested with the coloured crest & clear body. Jaffa is a Red factor but maybe hasn’t been colour fed.

GORGEOUS babies!!!! I love the head on the double factor spangle chick.. what a gorgeous face!! But they're all beautiful!! Congratulations Kaz. :hap:

Those crested canaries are so cute, they look like they are wearing toupee's....(Laughing out loud)

When I was young my mum and dad used to breed birds and had a few of the crested canaries, we used to call them "Beatles" because it was around the time when the Beatles were popular with their mop tops! THey look so cute!

Awe Kaz...always great pics from your place.....well done....
