Gilbert - 2 Colours?

Featured Replies

Posted

I was watching Gilbert the other day and realised he hasn't changed colour after his first moult.

He is mostly sky blue but lower on his abdomen he has a bit of light gray feathers too.

Does that change his mutation name at all?

His parents if it's of any help: Cock - Cobalt Opaline & Hen - Gray Opaline.

(thank goodness for the auto photo-resizer!)

Hi Karen, I have changed your photos to links as they are over 450 x 450 pixels. With the automatic 'resizer' on this board it makes it even more important to not post photos over 450 x 450 pixels. The reason is in this topic:

Karen,

wow, I haven't seen that before :D All I know is that it makes him even prettier!

Feathers.

How old is Gilbert or is it Gilly. It has a flesh coloured cere.I would of liked

to have seen it free standing on the perch. The wings look grey. Its another

crystal ball. Not enough of the bird to tell what it is. :)
