Posted October 15, 200717 yr Hi all, Just a friendly reminder to keep your photo sizes to a maximum of 640x 480 pixels. There have been a lot of images well in excess of that range recently from various members, including some that have been posting for a long time. Some may be under the impression that as the board automatically compresses any images over 385 pixels that the posting of larger images is alright. These large photos take up more system resources than ever due to the added compression. The forum administrators are working on deleting the built in compression code. Please assist us by following the guidelines, which can be easily found at the bottom of any staff messages. Thanks, Feathers. Edited August 11, 200816 yr by KAZ
October 17, 200717 yr Additional comment for the topic by Feathers. If you are with Photobucket, there is an edit feature which allows you to resize any photo you load up onto photo bucket. Above each photo is the EDIT feature, then you choose RESIZE and then select size EMAIL/WEBSITE. Then the size fits our forum requirements exactly and your pictures will show on the forum and we wont have to keep changing them back to links. When there are lots of photos and lots of links to open up, mostly people dont bother waiting for all that and move onto the next topic to read and see. It would be great if you could take advantage of the edit feature and do all your pictures that way as a matter of course. Edited October 17, 200717 yr by KAZ
