I was wondering... I've seen blue spangles, and grey spangles, but I dont remember if i've ever seen a green spangle or a yellow spangle. Is it possible to get them? If so, does anyone have one, and do you have pics?

Yes it is possible I'm sure if you search the pictures on the site you'll see one somewhere , green colour is dominant over blue so you are more likley to get green , sorry I do not have a photo to post for you. :ygbudgie:

Yellow Spangles are called Double Factors in Green series and White Spangles are called Double Factor in blue series.

Spangle Double Factor in Green Series

I guess i'm having a brain fart here.... you know how the blue ones have the white on their wings, can you get green with white on the wings, or is it always yellow? (and same for yellow, can you get the white like you do with the blues?)

You will never get green and white together Buuzbee. If you did they would be worth a small fortune...the hunt for the white faced green budgie continues........

As Kaz says not at the moment...but never say never as they say, maybe one day.

(Laughing out loud)! maybe one day! hehee

That clears up my confusion then! I have a book on order BUDGERIGAR MATINGS AND COLOUR EXPECTATIONS so hopefully ONE day i'll understand the genetics! (Laughing out loud)

How about a yellow winged blue :(

that would be nice

How about a yellow winged blue :D

We are getting close to that with some YF2 Blue Pieds. Daz...but hard to just keep the pied to the wings.

Yep it is definately possible to get green spangles. Any mutation you can get in white series, you can get in yellow series.

My Emmett is a green spangle and his daughter (could be a boy) is a double factor green spangle.
