I Didn't Take it to a vet but it couldn't pow:( It Died It Had 7 Grown babys i i have sold 4 he had 2 flocks in one seson he was remembered as my first father to have baby i was sad:( But Hes Gone to heaven .Amen.
October 3, 200717 yr I sounds like you need to take the dead bird (if you haven't disposed of it yet) to the avian vet for an examination so you know what it can be in case it happens. It could have been a prolapsed uterus due to calcium deficiencies.
October 4, 200717 yr Author I see the post it was a he...still needs to go to the avian vet so he knows He Couldn't pow or Do it He Was always on the groud he was a hero:) but the hero died:(
October 4, 200717 yr Hi, i thought i would just add my bid to this thread. If this was my budgie, dead or still alive, and not knowing what this problem is that you have had with your budgie. I would be taken it straight to a avian vet as soon as possible. Not only would it be at your best interest to find out what caused your budgie to die, but for future knowledge and prevention of it occurring again. with the knowledge and signs to look out for you will hopefully catch on to what ever it was that your budgie died of, earlier and hopefully not lose another one. As some one who breeds any type of animal. In my book the care and prevention of any diseases, illnesses and injuries that may occur is a serious matter and should be noted in a book so you can look back on your notes and realize you may have the same problem again, and dill with the problem before its to late
October 4, 200717 yr Nathan, any bird that spends a lot of time on a cage floor needs to be looked at by a bird vet. It is one of the first signs of something being very wrong with the bird.

October 6, 200717 yr Hi, What Is a fat red blob on the bum My Budgie Died from this Cheers Nathan m. Oh no, I know how you feel, my bird that we have removed from the aviary for safety purposes has recently had a little bit of blood on her bottom which has been plucked. Thanks for sharing your story, now I will be very cautious of my bird and make sure it dosent get worse. I'm sorry that your bird died.
