Posted September 2, 200717 yr :greenb: I had my batteries on charge all night, and l took some pictures of Sherbet. They were taken in the kitchen, but l don't keep her there I keep her outside. Enjoy Some aren't all that good, well, none of them are really good. My camera isn't very good and l couldn't take her out of her cage, so there are a lot of bars from the cage in the pictures. And now two of the cage set-up and size: I hope its a good size for her?
September 2, 200717 yr Author She's a very pretty girl. You took some lovely photos there Thanks Karen, she is pretty I try my best to take the photos l can with the equipment (or lack thereof!) that l have
September 3, 200717 yr your doing well with the taming it seems :ausb: good job. Personally I would remove the two dowel perches and just leave in the rope and the nature ones, more of an effort to each branch means more use of wings and even feet to climb around rather than just a hop.

Thanks I try and interact with her once a day, because l work 5 days a week (sometimes 6) its hard to really sit down and spend time with her. Thanks for the advice about the perches - but l don't know if you can see it or not, but l use one right near the food/water, only because l feel its a bit too high off the bottom of the cage, and thats as far down as the containers go - do you think l should keep one perch there, or shouldn't it be a problem with her getting the food? :ausb: I love the soft, pastel colors of Sherbet, she is well named! Thanks Phoebe I thought it suited her quite well too

That up to you and how Sherbet eats, my food dishes have little stands on them for the birds to use, but if your little miss eats from the perch then leave it. Just in the pictures I thought there might be too much clutter for easy movement around the place.
September 3, 200717 yr Author Nerwen - l will remove one of them, the one she doesn't use to feed on, and l'll see how she goes with that! The only demand she has is that l have a natural perch in there, somewhere up high. She gets upset if its not in there! :ausb:
