Posted July 16, 200717 yr Hi all i'm new but not new to budgies in these pictures these are some of my massive aviaries they have been kept in this for over 40 years now and had lots of babies. In these aviaries there are budgie, canarys, lots of kinds of finches, Cockatoo's, lots of big parrots, doves, love birds and small pigeons haven't had any fighting or killing from the birds at all. Sorry if pictures too big i don't know how to resize them so if you could do it it will be much appericeadted. Thanks,Daniel Edited July 17, 200717 yr by budgie_dude
July 16, 200717 yr Author Yes it is large i have a 50x80x30x50x20 meters for the small one and the larger way bigger. P.S cost my dad a fortune (Laughing out loud). But least the budgies are happy
July 16, 200717 yr what a gorgeous set-up especially the skyview I assume those are your children I really like the one of the boy holding all three budgies up in his hand (great picture for our Budgie of the Month Competition Do you have any pictures of your aviaries from the outside view to give us a even better idea of how large they are and the sizes . Again welcome.
July 16, 200717 yr Author thank you and yes they are dream aviaries took long time to build too (Laughing out loud). Might be awhile intill pictures because the camare has got problems and only taking black photo's. Sorry about my last post with the size thing with 50x and so that was my son.
July 16, 200717 yr Budgie Dude,It would be safe to say,you don`t live on a normal house size block. With aviary of that size. Alot of work, would of gone into building an avairy`s of that size.
July 16, 200717 yr Nice pictures, however I did have to change them to links becuase they were over the board size rule of 450 pxl. If you use the photobucket resize tool and pick the email size most pictures are then reduced to within the limits.
July 16, 200717 yr Author Yes it is 4 blocks put together. It took nearly a year to build but it was worth it i actullay turn it into a place for people to walk through and feed the birds. I go through heaps of bird seed Edited July 17, 200717 yr by budgie_dude
July 16, 200717 yr Wow that is one huge fantastic aviary, lovely birds too. Love the King Parrots. There is a bloke that lives across the road from me and he has huge aviaries too with all sorts of birds. Mainly parrot. From the road you would think it was a nursery because of the plantation he has growing there and when you go in it is so wonderful with huge aviaries with trees and bushes in and surrounding the aviaries.
July 17, 200717 yr Author okay i think i finally got the pictures to work and i can't get photo's of the whole cage because there are many buildings and trees around it and you can't see anything just trees shrubs and buildings. Edited July 17, 200717 yr by Bea

July 17, 200717 yr Yes it is large i have a 50x80x30x50x20 meters for the small one and the larger way bigger.P.S cost my dad a fortune lol. But least the budgies are happy Budgie Dude, could you clarify the sizes you have posted as I dont quite "get" the measurements ? :ausb:
July 17, 200717 yr Author Hello thanks for the replys and **KAZ** on one of the post i replied and said that that wasn't me that was my son when he was on my account don't know how he got my password. Daz that was the first set but i pushed reply instead of edit button and i don't really have a breeding room i just have a few nesting boxes i knocked up and the rest are just from the birds nesting in some of the hollow trees witch i didn't want them to do but i guess its natural. :ausb:
July 17, 200717 yr Hey Dude,Do you realy have 500 budgie`s.Your answers have a hole or two in them. You say you can`t get near the birds.Yet in the photos, they are siting in feeders & 0n the children head,If Iam wrong I apologise. But I think you might be,have a lend of the forum.I have a bit to do with budgies & person who has breed 500 budgies & a avairy set up that is shown inthe photoes.whould be a little more clued up about the budgie game. :feedbirds:

But least the budgies are happy Budgie Dude, could you clarify the sizes you have posted as I dont quite "get" the measurements ? I would love to know the size and layout of your aviary as the measurements dont make sense to me . I was asking as I have reasonably large aviaries and would love to know what yours is like in size and layout.
July 17, 200717 yr :ausb: Oh dear, Budgiedude, sorry but I can't get this all straight in my silly old brain, you have a son who got into your BBC account, it looks like you live in a lovely park/zoo like setting, but only have a "few" nesting boxes and the budgies breed in trees. Sorry dude but this post is one of the strangest we have ever seen. Anything else you would like to tell us about your birds? Thanks!
