I have a problem, I'm getting attached to Robbie. I was originally going to sell him, like I am with Albert, but over time, he has proved, what a special little gentleman he is.

If I am going to sell him, he would have to go to someone special, and I would have to be able to see him regularly.

Originally as a chick he was quite a timid little fellow, even though I handled him every day, he was quite scared and would always hide under the towel. When he became flighted, he was scared of my hand and didn't want to come out, even though younger sister Nikio was pretty game on coming out for a play. However as time has moved on he has become very tame and very friendly and loves nibbling my hand, and he does it ever so gently. He has the cutest face ever and he is the only boy budgie I have who flirts with my finger, all I have to do is bop his beak with my fingernail and his little head goes off bobbing around the place. And then when he plays with my hand and wrestles it, he flies off with his tail up and goes all happy dance and then flirts with all the girls in the cage, even his mum. wink.gif.

He is so sweet and I share a relationship with him that I don't with the other boys. he loves climbing up my arm and eating my jumper.

He has his father's face (extra cute(his father is Arkady)), his father's charms, well attitude to charming girls, his mother's good looks (mother is Isis) and he is a cutie.

You see I think I have too many budgies. I was gonna sell Albert and Robbie to reduce my number to 10 budgies, but as the days go on, little Robbie, just makes me gooier and gooier. I couldn't imagine him as a lonely budgie in a smaller cage than he is in now, but I don't want to be selfish, because he is very special and deserves a close friend.

Albert, I think could handle being in a smaller cage, the fatty! Fat Albert. (Laughing out loud)

My cage is 165 cm tall, by 89cm wide by 89cm deep. That is okay for 11 budgies isn't it? They seem to do quite okay with 12 being in there.

What do you guys think?

As you can see, he has wormed his way into my heart. He probably knew I was going to sell him, so put on the charms and once I have decided, he will probably be a little brat. hehe

What a sweetheart...that is why I don't breed well one of the reasons I would hate parting with them.

Do you have a picture of the cage you are talking about or convert to inches...(Laughing out loud) us US people are not on metric quite yet...but I know inches :hap:

I wouldn't put more then 12 in there...is it the picture or does it seem taller then wider...It is a nice cage don't get me wrong too bad it isn't a tinch wider.

Oh, haha, it is a very wide cage. It is actually closer to 3 foot. But I don't have an inch ruler with me, just the good ol' cm ruler. It is almost 3 rulers long, which apparently a 30 cm ruler is about 1 foot long.

If it was wider, I don't think I could fit it in my room (Laughing out loud).

It has a square foot print rather than rectangle so it is pretty good.

I have twelve budgies in it at the moment. I plan to get a cage like your Elly for their Summer vacation, when I have to move them back home for the summer. I'll have 6 in that cage and 4 in my other white cage. I don't know what I'll do with the 11th budgie. hmm.

Well Robbie was so cute this evening. I was playing with him and he started to go all flirty and bobbed his head and everything. Then he thought my hand looked hungry so he fed it. Then he went off and started to woo girls, but he would always come back to me to kiss my hand.

He especially loves wrestling my hand it makes him so happy. He is so cute.
