I saw this online, is this normal for a baby to look like this? I've never seen this before

In which way do you mean...I saw that picture before, it's just such a beautiful clear picture. If you mean that it shows the gut of the bird through the skin, I think that's just because of the quality of the picture & because it's so close up.

I haven't noticed in real life, but you have to remember that that photo is much larger than real life & I've noticed that often photos pick up so much more than you get time to see in normal day viewing.

yes the baby looks normal to me.

I agree with Norm, look at the placement on the hand then look at your hand, the bub may only be 1 inch in real life which would make it hard to see this detail.

Yeah, you can usually see the insides of a baby budgie for a while after it hatches... and Im pretty sure that the bit of orange in its belly is some of the yolk which hasnt been absorbed yet.

Yeah, I could see my babies guts, it was very interesting. Birds have very thin skin which makes it way easier to see through than mammal skin. I guess their muscle layer wouldn't have developed too much at this stage either. And the sternum wouldn't have grown to cover its abdomen much yet either.
