July 16, 200717 yr I have a couple of photos around on the home computer, but here's one already on Photobucket of my poor Fluoro having a 'bad feather day'! Will try and get a few more when I get the chance to get online at home.
July 16, 200717 yr So what do you do with it? Do you just leave it? He's been always with Sara and she used to help him with his "Feather Do" but due to her illness He's been on his own. I suppose because it is a common thing, it is normal, isn't it?
July 16, 200717 yr Author Sometimes one of the budgies in my aviary will break a pin feather and bleed, but as long as the bleeding stops i just leave them be and they're fine. :ausb:
July 16, 200717 yr Arkady "popped a zit" the other day ie his pin feather broke and bled. He was fine, just had a little red dot on his hed.
July 16, 200717 yr I can't get too close to Poppy with a camera but here you can see the pinkish area above his cere, lots of pin feathers! Rocky has lots but they are hard to see as they are the same colour as her head. Poor patchy the lorikeet is moulting too...... Edited July 16, 200717 yr by FGM
