Wailing?

I hear weird noises coming from the nest... I bet it's normal but my mom keeps asking me if there's one dying in there. And I'm not surprised she asks, it's so strange and we never heard baby birds before!

It sounds like some sort of gurgling wail... Or maybe more like a woopee cushion that is being sloooooooooowly pushed on. Well, maybe not. I never tried that with a whoopee cushion. I tried to get a sound of it but yay, just as I neared the nest it quieted down. I did peek earlier and I'm pretty sure it was the 2nd baby that was making that sound in its sleep but I could be wrong... Do you guys think it's normal? It does it pretty often.

Well I don't have alot of expierence with this, but my guess would be that it would be normal, I mean when they are adults they can get pretty loud! :D So they may just be getting started at a young age! :)

Baby birds can be pretty noisy when they're hungry. And they tend to "squeak" a bit if they are trying to squark while they're being fed! They are budgies yes? How old?
