The size of the pictures where fine before Kabel05. You might have been seeing the larger size before since you computer was reading a cached image size and hadn't updated to the new size. Normally the email size in photobucket is fine.

As for spangles your hen is a single factor spangle.

You ended up making the photos the avatar size and now they cannot be edited. Also a bit too small for us to see. So if you load them onto photobucket again and choose the email/website size it is PERFECT for this forum.

Nerwen- did you mean my adult hen or baby?

Thanks i got the photos on.

I've cleaned the bottom of the cage for when the babies come ouut and i have put a bath down there with eucalyptus leves and tank water it's about 2cm deep coould the babies drown? and for when they do come out of the box should i put another nestbox on the ground so they dont have to climb all the way back up to the one at the top of the cage at night time or for when they are cold?. I took them out again today and held them for ten minutes each the youngest really enjoyed but the oldest and second oldest were a bit shaky hopefully they stop soon can i hold them for longer?. do i need to put seed down on the bottom of the cage for them to eat? aswell as fresh fruit n veg can the babies drink from the bath i have or do they need seperate water? thanks everyone for all your help. :P

The babies are looking really good. Love the double factor spangle.

Feathers.

I've cleaned the bottom of the cage for when the babies come ouut and i have put a bath down there with eucalyptus leves and tank water it's about 2cm deep coould the babies drown? and for when they do come out of the box they dont need the bath at the newly fledged age and if it has leaves soaking in it now waiting for them, the water will be horrible by the time they come out anyway. Remove it would be a good idea. And YES babies can drown in water.

should i put another nestbox on the ground so they dont have to climb all the way back up to the one at the top of the cage at night time or for when they are cold?. no. If they come out too soon...as in ...not all their full feathers yet, just keep putting them back in until they are fully feathered

I took them out again today and held them for ten minutes each the youngest really enjoyed but the oldest and second oldest were a bit shaky hopefully they stop soon can i hold them for longer?. YES but do it one at a time...try not to empty the nest of all babies or Mum budgie will get stressed

do i need to put seed down on the bottom of the cage for them to eat? YES a shallow food tray on the cage floor when they are out of the nest. Dont forget drinking water at floor level, but not a dish or container they will drown in or get soaking wet in.

aswell as fresh fruit n veg can the babies drink from the bath i have or do they need seperate water? separate water, not a bath. remove the bath

thanks everyone for all your help. ;)

thankyou kaz for your help. my adults use the bath to and im changing it everyday but i will take it oout. for how long can i hold the babies? i am taking them one by one out of the nest. thanks alot.

Ten minutes is a good length of time. It is during this time that you can check under their beaks for built up food.

You father budgie, looks like he is a double factor spangle and not an albino.
