I have a small plastic peg clipped to the outside of her cage, the front edge of the peg inside, she has started to bond with it i think??

she rubs her head on it and talks to it,mves it back and forth and spends loads of time sitting next to it? is this her bonding.? should i take it away

Sounds like she really likes the peg!!!!!!

I don't know if you should take it away. Perhaps take it away for a week and then give it back and see if she still likes it.

If you want your bird to bond with you and not a peg or a mirror, I would take it away. Soon she will go through that hormonal stage and may get nasty and possessive over that peg, so best you remove it now. :hap:

sounds like a fave toy to me. remove it if you don't want her to connect to a toy like that

I agree again, Kaz you pinned it right on the head why it should be removed.

:D Let's just put it in "hiding" for a bit. :(
