No.... even if i have i can't go today. I have to wait till tuesday (2days) :(

Well keep us updated and I do hope everything works out for you and your bird.

:( Just viewed this for the first time and sorry that you can't get your bird in to the vet any earlier, not happy at all with the symptoms. :D

Could this be a flu? Shes Also Sneezing. :S

Could this be a flu? Shes Also Sneezing. :S

It's like I said before...she has a respiratory problem. Nothing that will fix itself. She needs urgent meds from a vet. There is nothing we can do or a petshop can do to help this bird...just a vet and proper care :(

Have you called yet? Not sure why you are stalling as every minute you waste is potentially lessening the chance that your budgie will live. The fact that he is showing signs of illness so obviously (fluffed, vomitting) mean he is REALLY REALLY sick. He should've been to the vet on the first day you noticed he was fluffy. :(

I have to go in 2 days :( My mums Busy these days :D So the best i can do is ask you guys for help and follow the instructions...

I am sorry. We are not Vets. We are not there with you. We can only advise you see the vet. Two days may well be too late. Keep the bird confined to a small cage with a heat source for warmth in the meantime and dont let her fly around or be in a draught. I fear you may lose this bird before the vet appointment :(

You should lock her door, so she can't open it. You can still call the vet and ask about your budgie at the very least. Tell your mum that your budgie is very sick and is more important than what she has got planned.

Hi, did you get to the vet? How is she now?

Feathers.

Hasn't your avian vet got an after hours emergency clinic? Your little bird sounds very very sick, the extra money should be the least of your problems.

No shes still at it... Im taking her to a vet tommorow. Shes still alive. It Seems like shes getting better. She stopped making that weird sound but shes still all puffy And her cere is still greenish.

And also... My Vet Is Charging a Fee Of 52 AUS Dollars.(Just For A Inspection, Medicine or treatment not included) Is this a Bit too Much? But.. Il'l do anything to help my lil feathered friend.

No, $50 is about right for an Avian Vet consultation - and even though she's looking better, you really should get her to see a vet.

That's a standard price. My vet's good, the first time i take a bird it's $50, and any time after that where i take the same bird it's about half that price. :D

Whats the difference between a Vet Hospital and a Vet? My Mum's Friend is saying that it's cheaper to go to the vet Hospital? Is it the same?

And thats cool that you have a nice vet ;D,

I hope mine is a nice one too.. but i sometimes get treated differently since im Asian :D Which Sucks..

Take it wherever, just make sure you're seeing an AVIAN vet. Many will say they see birds but they aren't actually trained to treat birds specifically.

But, The closest Avian Vet Is at WaterLoo (1-2+) And That means i have to wait until the weekends (6Days) =S. So wish me Luck. This Vet Is Just a Vet Not an Avian vet But at least he will do something :S IF he Can't help me Il'l go to the Avian :D (Lets Just Pray She will Live on)

EDIT:

Time of death 10:59pm.

Location Lying on the Bird Cage.

Death: Properly Sad,Lonely,Painful. It died a Miserable death of 1 day away from the vet. This is Properly the worst thing i have ever done. I should of listened to you guys instead of following my Immature nature and went to the vet myself.

Appearance: It looked like how my other bird died from. It's beak was Normal But Green Stuff was oozing out from it.

Human, Emotion: I am very sad and shocked and some what angry now. Especially when my brother rubbed it in my face. He called me CaluBarn Which i really hate and told him several times not to call me, And i hated him especially when he was PRETENDING(Saying stupid stuff like Aww Poor Birdie, I wish I did Something about it, and when i said you don't even care about the bird he said in the most annoying tone you can possibly hear "OF COURSE I DONT CARUBARN") to care about the poor bird..

Advice: To those owners out there..

1. Listen to these People on the forum. They are Smart.

2. Ring the vet and make a appointment ASAP. (My Bird Died 1 day Before he was about to go to the vet)

3. Don't Make the same mistake i did, If your 13 and you really love your bird and you mum can't take you to see a vet ASAP. Grab Some cash get Dressed and RUN to your nearest vet. Be Smart. (I Really Regret Not Doing that Myself, I feel Like a Murderer now)

4. Feed him some GOOD Quality Food, Not the Cheap one i bought (i think this might have to do with the death, i ran out of budgie food so i started feeding her Cockatiel food (No brand) And yea.. (im going to Burn those seeds)

Note: I am very Grateful to all those people who were with me through this.. Journey. And i hope the best of luck to your Birds, May they Live a Happy,Joyful Life with you.

Thanks.

Calvin Siu.

I am really sorry you have lost your bird this way. It's a hard way to learn lessons in life. It could have been so different. You aren't old enough yet to be making all your own decisions and you have to rely on parents. I am truly sorry you lost your budgie. They can go very fast when sick and not treated. :(
