Jimmies Flapping

shes started some strange behavior , she stands on her perch, crouches down and flaps like crazy!!

like she is trying to lift the cage in take off!!

is it just a way of her letting some steam off.

I find that when my birds were clipped they did it more often to exercise their wings or if they didn't get out for the day. After the flights grew back in I never saw the behavior again probably because they could then fly. So it is normal.

My budgies do it all the time. They love it. It is like their little spaz, to let off steam. I especially like it when they hold on to the perch flap like crazy and then they flap so hard that they let go and start hovering. It is so cute. :)

:) Some of my budgies, both of my cockatiels and one of my lovebirds does it all the time. :)
