Just wondering if anyone has used crumbles with their birds, mine wont even try the pellets they would rather starve. I have just brought Passwell crumbles says its a low fat balanced diet wondering if anyone has had any luck with this product or similar.

The birds have been tasting it, I just need them to eat something better then seed they wont eat hardly any vegies or fruit. I'm hoping since the bubs are only just learning to crack seed they may be easier to convert than their parents.

Any tips on how to do the conversion right would be good too Im still learning.

I would say that if they're tasting it, they're well on their way. Just keep being persistant. Some budgies like the smaller pieces of the crumbles. I mixed the pellets in with the seed so my birds would know that they're food and slowly increased the amount I put in. I think I mostly got lucky though, cuz they seemed to take to them pretty quickly.
