I went to the bird place to get some photos and prices of some swivel bird feeders for Feathers new aviary...and I thought I was safe. Last time I was there they had little to no budgies and I thought...I will be okay. No temptations...just go quickly and come home.

The I saw they had hundreds of new budgies there. Great colours, many olives, dilutes, violet greywings, YF pieds, dark, dark greys, and mauves. A lot of dark factor budgies actually. All healthy and vigorous looking. So I took some photos for Feathers and then in the viewfinder of the camera spotted two beauties. Males, which I don't really need...but so very long and straight and proud. One is obviously a sky violet and the other looks YF2 sky normal ?

UNFORTUNATELY they ended up coming home with me....what to do ? I don't know

Anyone have any name suggestions ?

The ones that impressed me most were boys and I have way too many boys, so I guess that was my self control There was a great many dark factor budgies there, so I am guessing from the same breeder....lots of blue feet

They are nice birds and the names you picked suit them well. They are two lucky birds. But I'm with the others I could never have stopped a just two! Well done.

I can add to my birds once I get my new aviary section back. Ken is using that section to quarantine his new parrots.

I have been trying to get my show budgie types up and running, so I don't often add to my pet budgie types very often these days. Saving for some good quality show budgies

I will be keeping the pet ands show types at home. I have space for another 150 budgies if I want to add more

Faints again for the second time this month at the thought. You will never remember ALL their names!
