It's so funny how budgies will flirt with practically anything. Scooter is very fond of his bells. He flirts with all 10 of them all day long (Laughing out loud). But he'll also flirt with his rope, beads, and even me on occassion. He's even been known to flirt with my Johnny Depp poster. Seriously. :(Laughing out loud):

 

So what funny things does your budgie flirt with?

My budgies - especially the males- flirt with almost everything. Often the perches, mirrors, bars of the cage, other males, and of course the females.

Pretty flirts with the plastic balls and Merlin enjoys the cage bars

Cupid is playing with the cage bars as we speak!! He loves his bell and the cuttlebone as well as his Psyche. *L*

Blinkie flirts with hands, feet, cockatiels, dogs, toys, electronics, pegs, paper......maybe it would be faster to just say he flirts with everything!

 

Ozzie flirts with Blinkie, food, his shadow, the wall and his toys.

Stubby just loves his oen reflection!!! You can just see him saying 'hey you sexy boy' into his mirror. He kisses all over it and the tries to um....yeah we all know hahah He also likes the beads on his swing!

Izzy likes to flirt with the cage bars.

Arkady likes to flirt with his little bell preener toy, or my watch, or finger.

 

Sometimes the two boys flirt with each other at exactly the same time, both doing their little happy dances in the opposite direction and then coming back at each other to reunite their head bobbing.

 

Once Arkady flirted with nothing. He was sitting on the perch bobbing his head and flirting with fresh air.

my teil flirts with his plastic link toys with bell.. and with his rope and beads he loveeeeees that toy.. funny little creatures they are

 

Lukie flirts with his swing, his mirrors, his millet!!?, his bells, an almond (in its shell), me and fresh air!! He seems to flirt with them all in rotation so as not to offend any of them!

I love it!! Budgie boys are SOOOOO funny in their incessant flirting.

 

I just caught Cupid with his head in the pellet dish bobbing and singing... *(Laughing out loud)*

Don't even ask me about Comet! Anything is exciting to him and to think I adopted him (out of sympathy as the documents read he was 11 years old, NOT!!) Sigh.

My bugies love to flirt with the cattlebones and some branches of the the tree inside the aviary.

I have a silly question...

 

Do only male budgies flirt?

One of my males is having a deep and meaningful relationship with his calcium bell!

 

The males really are all Cute Casanovas!!!!!

I have a Little boy that likes to "do" the Pirch!

 

He will try to kiss the hanging ball with a bell in it then puts one leg up on it and keeps the other leg on the pirch and then rubs his 'thing' on the pirch.

 

It was so funny the first time i saw it, but now he does it a couple of times a day.

My budgie will on anything.

poles, seedstick. bells.

But he mainly likes to kiss me.

a bit to much

every time i go to his cage he will run to me and try and give me a kiss.

3 of my inside birds like to mate with weird objects... Munchy has a foot, hand and any human skin he can get to fetish, hes even been known to go for it of an unsuspecting forehead or two .. He taught Mig the art of getting jiggy with anything human he can grip onto while Mig taught Munchy that the Rainbow Lorikeets cuddly toy (of a Rainbow lorikeet) was a great source of "entertainment".. Then there is Apple who LOVES the tail of a cat toy, its a little mouse in like a wire ball with the tail sticking out.. He grabs onto the tail and wiggles his butt from side to side while whispering "hey cutie.. i love you.. talk to me.. Watcha dewin?" at it :(Laughing out loud):
