February 6, 200718 yr What a really sad story but Kerrie you were the guardian angel for those 2 lucky survivors :angel1: I can't even imagine what that poor family must be going through! I found it really hard to cope when 1 of my budgies died! I can't imagine multiplying the pain by 50.... I hope that agency (or at least the petsitter) gets what they deserve and learn their lesson so this can never happen again IF they're still allowed to work! Kerrie you are a hero!
February 9, 200718 yr Author Well the final update on this tragic story with a somewhat happy ending. The two survivors have gone home to the owners and have settled in well. The little boy is talking to the birds but noone else hopefully that wont last the not talking to people I mean. Looks like the boy and the budgies will heal each other. Also the owners and the RSPCA are proceeding with legal action lets hope they get the book thrown at them.
