Hello,

i love looking at everyone's budgies and now, here is mine!

 

This is Billy and my dog Gemmer. Don't worry, looks like have left dog and budgie on their own but my boyfriend is hovering directly above gemmer and she is is very placid and has spent lots of time minding previous pets such as mice and hermit crabs. Would never leave her alone with bird out of cage.

 

as you can see, billy has lost his tail and flight feathers, am worried but am hoping it was a stress thing and that they will grow back am really really hoping not french moult - scary

 

Is he a yellow face? Is that the colour?

I would say Yellowface Type 1 in the last picture looks cobalt

Yeah gemmer has definitely got terrier in her! i am always happy to provide more photos! She is 10yrs old and i refer to her as the little heart beat at my feet! any one else with dog - budgie moments?

Oh Gemma is just gorgeous!!!! So is sooo terrier - that intense stare at Billy - my terrier does that too!!!

Regarding Billy's tail and flight feathers missing, you might want to speak to Bubbles about that, she has a budgie (Pasteil my cyber budgie :fear ) who has a condition that causes his flights and tails to fall out, but can't remember what it is called.

Your pets are absolutely adorable. I just love the cheekiness in Gemmers eye!! heheh Billy looks like such a sweetie.

I think it is called pulpitus.

OH my gosh Gemmer is simply adorable I knew I wanted to see that cute face Totally a dog lover here (we have 3) . She looks like she might have some dach in her too, with her long body?

OMG, I am so in love with that beautiful little face, just want to cuddle her! Please post in OFF Topic Chatter any more pictures of her, hint, hint (so we won't have to move them out of the bird section). Oh and do ask Bubble about pulpitis.
