Soggy Squee & Milly's Millet

It's hot today and I thought I'd get photos of Squee having a little bath.

She wouldn't cooperate while I was holding the camera - might have something to do with the way the water was sloshing around as I tried to hold it with one hand, (Laughing out loud).

The results:

oh she had so much fun :D I love that expression too with her head down on the perch. I have one of Merlin doing that too just melts your heart :D

:D Way to go Milly! :) Too bad about the rock and roll bath Squee :D

Poor 'lil Squee, she found her treat... eventually :D Great pics

I can't believe I missed this :D Absolutely delightful photos .......brilliant photographer :D

Heheh she looked really frustrated trying to get into that parcel!! hehe They are both really cute :budgiedance:

Please excuse my ignorance, but have you hidden millet inside paper towel, & clipped it to the cage with a peg? Looks like a great party trick to keep the little guys amused, with reward at the end!

Are there any other games and mentally stimulating things for budgies to do, that anyone does? I'd love to try some new things for my guys..... :budgiedance:

Cheers,

Tracey

looks like they enjoyed it , l got to try it out with my flock :hap:

that is right , she hid some millet seed in the paper for captive foraging , a great way for your budgies to have fun and also to prevent boredom .

eterri posted awhile back about this , she listed some great ways to help let your budgie forage the way they would do in the wild , check this post out if you wish http://forums.budgiebreeders.asn.au/index....showtopic=12705
