January 12, 200718 yr *(Laughing out loud)* I don't know why that picture made me think you went after them with a garden hose or dumped a bucket of water on them! *(Laughing out loud)*
January 13, 200718 yr that is so fun! My new foster/rescue, Ricki the Nanday Conure dove into his water bowl the moment I put it into his newly cleaned cage. It was his first action in his new home!! He was dripping wet. I just love soaked birds!! Shell
January 13, 200718 yr Author No hosing allowed under water restrictions. I dunked them in a small amount of fidowash in a bucket. Some naughty birds went and jumped in the dirt , that was why I had to put them in a cage to stop this! I think there is around 42 birds in there of 4 different species, have no fear I didn't leave it unattended for a moment!
January 13, 200718 yr my guess for the species is: 1-budgie 2-rosella 3- lovebird 4- cockatiel am i right? its hard to make each out in the wet look (Laughing out loud) great picture. Sco-tie
January 13, 200718 yr Author my guess for the species is:1-budgie 2-rosella 3- lovebird 4- cockatiel am i right? its hard to make each out in the wet look (Laughing out loud) great picture. Sco-tie You've got the first 2 right. I wouldn't mind getting a couple of lovebirds once my total quarantine is over.
January 13, 200718 yr okay so are the other 2 species a conure and a canary?? if not please tell me. Sco-tie
January 14, 200718 yr Author Conure yes. Canary would be canaricide! hint: Australian Parrot Edited January 14, 200718 yr by karen
January 14, 200718 yr oh my I am impressed you were able to get them all in 1 cage - they looked soaked (Laughing out loud)
January 17, 200718 yr okay so so far we have: 1- budgie 2-Rosella 3- Green cheeked conure and 4 (australian parrots? not cockatiel) well i swear i can see a cockatiel on the cage at the front, but if not then my other guesses are a) a red rump a Neophema c) no idea tell me thats my final guesses im betting when you tell me ill hit my head over it!! hope to fund it out soon p.s are all of those yellow birds budgies?
January 17, 200718 yr a Neophema is a burke sailorwolf. Neophema is a family of parrots including the burkes parrot, goldern shouldered and turquise. there are over 44 different types of Neophema so its a well rounded guess. Sco-tie
January 17, 200718 yr Just a question, whats fidowash? http://forums.budgiebreeders.asn.au/index....topic=13432&hl= this was answered in a previous topic. above is the link Sco-tie

You are correct Sco-tie, the 4th species is Red Rump! All yellows are indeed budgies.
January 20, 200718 yr woooo go me, go me that was great someone should create a bird species quiz that would be great. ill admit that was hard, what mutation of red rump is in there. thanks Sco-tie
