January 11, 200718 yr Is it just me, or do they take after Mom? How old are they now? I love how they're all huddled together! Sibling love. Do Stumpy's feet look that same color in person? On my monitor, they're exceptionally bluish. Thanks for sharing those! ~~~ Kali
January 11, 200718 yr I know Kali, those feet look like they have been dipped in blue ink. They are so pretty all cuddled up together

On my monitor, they're exceptionally bluish. Thanks for sharing those! ~~~ Kali Most of them DO take after mum. There are three exactly like Misty for colour and two have blue based colouring ....but all pale colouration ( possibly dilutes ? ). Dad's feet ARE blue in person just like you see on the photo.... Babies range between approx 3 weeks to four and a half weeks. I know Kali, those feet look like they have been dipped in blue ink. They are so pretty all cuddled up together No blue ink, but Dads feet DO look like that in real life. Edited January 11, 200718 yr by Bubbles
January 11, 200718 yr Gorgeous babies!! I love the pale colors. I like the blue feet too. My Shadow has feet that are even darker blue! Crazy isn't it? Shell
January 12, 200718 yr Author Aww, they're sooo pretty!! I bet you have some proud parents! They are both very excellent parents to these babies
January 14, 200718 yr okay I want those feet in my budgies Karen I LOVE THEM. Misty and Stumpy would both be carrying the greywing gene I believe that is why you have those greywings in the nest Remember greywing dilutes out the body if they are not a fullbody.

Stumpy has unusual colours on his wings...not normal wing patterns not cinnamon so maybe is a greywing
January 14, 200718 yr I think Stumpy is indeed a greywings after studying him a lot closer a couple of days ago. and dont forget he's also split for opaline.
January 14, 200718 yr Author I think Stumpy is indeed a greywings after studying him a lot closer a couple of days ago. and dont forget he's also split for opaline. stumpy is the middle budgie. The others aren't relevant. Would Stumpy be a golden face ? Edited January 14, 200718 yr by Bubbles
January 14, 200718 yr Goldenface gives a buttercup yellow, while the 'regular' yellowface gene is a lighter yellow. Stumpy's face is a very deep yellow isn't it? He's very lovely. All of them are.
January 15, 200718 yr Author Here is newest photos taken today of the five babies ...all in no particular order. Its very hard to work out who came first Baby A: Baby B: Baby C: Baby D: Baby E: They are all flying straight from the nestbox. Aren't eating much on their own yet but flying. Each one took off around the birdroom as I tried for photos
