I know how to take care of her, I just don't know all of her classifications and all that jazz. :hap: (and she IS a she, too right? <_< ) As well as how old she may be? I got her October 21st if that helps at all... <_< I assume she's about 3 months?

I'm no genetics expert so take any mutation advice I say with a grain of salt. :(Laughing out loud): But I'm pretty sure she's a normal cobalt, going on her body color in the brighter pictures. And she certainly looks like a she!

yep, I agree with Terri, cobalt normal hen. :hap: She still has her baby bars on the forehead, so I'd say that she'd be less then four months old.

l agree that she is a female .

as for colour , in the pics with the flash she looks cobalt almost with skyblue mix but the pics without a flash she looks like cobalt so l would say she is a normal cobalt hen .

The rings normally only indicate the year of birth, but by using the code on it you can track down the breeder and get info on birth date and even it's parents, if you wanted to.

The leg band doesn't say anything but a bunch of odd letters.

Someone told me it was probably from a private breeder.

Or something along those lines.

It says QPI9395.

QPI is probably the breeder's code. You can normally track them through budgerigar or bird clubs and they could give you the birds full details.
