What Does This Mean?

ANd no i dont mean she's flying (Laughing out loud), i got a new budgie last week and she's 6 months old, she gets on reasnably well with my 2 year old male budgie but she does this one thing with her wings that leaves me curious. She sometimes just lighlty flaps her wings ever so slightly but quite quickly and it's not as if she's stretching or trying to fly. I thought maybe because of her age or time of year etc... that it's maybe a sign that she wants some budgieloving from the new male in her life. I havent seen any other signs of wanting to bredd apart from this. ANyone out there got any idea what it means?

Since you say she does it very quickly, it sounds to me like she is flipping her wings. It is a nervous behavior. Once she gets used to her new home it should stop.

Are they caged together? Quarantine is very important when bringing a new bird into the house, both for the new one and the bird you had before.

Is it like she is trying to fly away while holding onto the perch? Because that is just them having a bit of fun and exercising.
