I was playing with Scooter tonight and he made a new noise I've never heard him make before. It was a very quiet cooing, almost like a pigeon would make. But it was very quiet. He would do it whenver I would give him one of his plastic chains he likes to pull on or ring his bell for him. Is this a sound of affection?

! I have heard Milly do that too and wondered what it is. She does it when she's sitting on my shoulder. Makes me think of something like a gentle sigh of contenment?

Its a happy content noise. My Georgy loves bells and when I ring a bell near him he comes running over and does that noise - Its too cute!

Blinkie does it when i talk to him in his cage, i love it!

l also noticed that my budgies do that too

l love it when they make that sound .
