Well I must have tired Pretty out :(Laughing out loud): because he never tucks his head to sleep when he is uncovered this is the first time ever. I had them out, gave them bathes and he was pooped. Though he still had that little eye open peering at me.

 

 

Have your budgies ever done the budgie dance? I don't mean the loud bobbing head stuff, I mean the quiet chirp like and l sits there while the other kind of bobs his head quicky like Pretty is doing then does a soft sweet chirp and the other will do it back? This is what that was :(Laughing out loud): but it looks funny. The different between the two really shows in this picture.

 

Merlin is like whatever and Mr. Poofball and Pretty is always ready for some action

I enjoyed very much Lovey, such beautiful, fluffy, peaceful little guys. Speaking of pooped, don't know what was up with Comet tonight but I figure I lost a couple of pounds chasing him around, he normally goes back in his cage within a minute or two when I want him to, maybe ten minutes is his record if he is goofing around but tonight...

Awww, i love that tucked in look. I could sit and watch them when they are like that all day long... but of course they don't stay tucked in for very long unless they are covered.. hehehe...

thank you, Pretty has been very naughty too again with stepping up just to use my finger as a lever to take off so I then use Merlin as bait it works all the time

your right Karen the difference in looks and personality is something else

but you should see Merlin get all dancing and bobbie with his head it is a scene and funny. He also likes to talk to Pretty quietly and Pretty gets really fluffied, small and dreamy looking

Me too I was shocked it was a rare moment to see him tuck and your right it didn't stay long he just needed a quick nap and he was at it again. Talking about size when Pretty is preening Merlin head it is funny. It looks like he is digging mammoth's head :(Laughing out loud):

Oh look at them Pretty is so angelic whilst Merlin is so manly. I do have a soft spot for normal cobalts though they are super yummy.

You are right about the appearance but Pretty believes he is the man in the relationship Merlin's color is actually violet it is hard to perceive in some of the pics and it is such a dark blue, I tend to lean toward the darker blue series too in any of the mutations.

Oh is he violet even better. My Candy is normal cobalt and is super dark blue but isnt violet I just love the vibrant colouring and love blue budgies full stop.

Yep his spot has always been big that is why I picked him I love it and was so hoping he was a boy when I picked him, his sister's was smaller. In fact when he moults it looks like he has hair because the long white feathers will cover the blue in sparse places :(Laughing out loud):
