i havnt seen anything about bird flu for ages

thats what i said to my mum as im trying to convince her to increase our flock, she was a bit worried, now i can tell her, i said as long as they are quarantinied they will be fine right?

I dont think there was ever a risk of buying new birds in Britain, as long as they came from here in the first place.

there were some restrictions put on buying birds here all bird auctions were cancelled sales classes were stoped at shows and i think they stoped importing birds from europe as well and as most pet birds in the shopa come from here i dont know if that affected the price

so its okay to buy some new birds, as long as they are quarantined obviously

Hath, I went to a bird sale in February at Newark so not all were stopped.

 

I think its perfectly safe to buy a budgie or whatever birdie your after.
