I bought a small package of dry kidney beans I was thinking of soaking in water to give to my birds. I was wondering if kidney beans are okay to give them.

Yep fine Woodie, I feed a mixed bean mix to my larger parraot and often offer it to the budgies too - although they turn their noses up at it but are allowed them. I woud mash them up with other things though - maybe some mashed sweet potato or rice.
