GORGEOUS! :rip:

Yellow faced skyblue recessive pied hen :D . . . A stunning gal too :ausb:

ps- She MAY* be a type II yellow face, but hard to tell... becuase of neon turquise... But i dont think so.... Id go with what i said up above...

Kirby :D

She doesnt have iris rings though Lovey.... I dont think so anyways.... :ausb: Plus, just becuase her flight feathers arent patterned like some recessives, doesnt make her dominant. Do you know her parents Zebra or no? Lovey, you may be correct, i just think this new thread about Dutch dom pieds got you thinkin to much, (Laughing out loud) :D

Kirby :)

she wouldn't have iris rings yet she is a baby look at her baby bar lines, I would say if they come in it would be around 6 months, I am assuming she is not that old yet :D Thats me always thinking :ausb:

(Laughing out loud) ;)

Either im blind or you are :ausb: ((Laughing out loud), just kidding)... Those are baby pics of her, then the top is of her reccently.... correct Zebra? See, her baby bars are gone shes grown up now, and her cere is brownish already.... the lil gals growing up :) (Laughing out loud). The bars you see i think are her remaing marks she had when she was younger. Thats what happened to my male and female pied, they still look 6 weeks old, becuase faint bars are still visible, but they simply diluted from what they were like when younger :D

good observation hard to do here at times (Laughing out loud) anyways....didn't Rainbow say her dominants iris rings are very light..yes I am stretching.

Dominant or recessive gorgeous..any other opinions out there :ausb:

Looks like she still has baby bars in all the pictures to me. :ausb: My guess is type 2 yellowface skyblue dominant pied - the feathers on the body are yellow and not white. She's not a clearflight as the tail is the wrong color. What a cutie!

I agree with Dominant Pied Yellowface 2 Skyblue. :nest:

Kiry, She's a Yellowface two because her yellow is spread pass her head/face into her body. whether this bleed into the blue or not, it stills classified her as a YF2 bird. ;)

Thank you all :D

I don't know her parents Kirby (she is a pet shop budgie :( ).

I got 2 other budgies from the same place at the same time (they looked the same age and same breeder - they all had the ends of their tails cut to look nice  ) and now she is the only one missing iris rings from these 3 (Iowa - the other pied has got them already).

The top picture was taken yesterday and the two bottom ones are older. Her cere is light brown now.

She is not really white or yellow - the colour looks like a banana milk shake  .

But she is my beautiful girl, doesn't matter what :)

Yea, i definately dont see iris rings, how old is she? And im still going to be stubborn, i say recessive still  (Laughing out loud)

She could be about 7-8 months, but I'm not sure

So she should have iris ring by then  HAH! Im correct! *maybe* (Laughing out loud)

Becuase dont irisn rings come at 6 months, (Laughing out loud)... shoot if 9 months, well have to wait, (Laughing out loud) :)

Kirby, there is no set time when the iris rings will become visible. The more removed from the normal green or normal blue a mutation is, the wider the variance. The normals seem to get them sooner. I have a dominant pied hen that is over two and you can barely see them. She looks like she has baby black button eyes, but the rings are there and you have to look for them. I doubt they will ever get any darker. I stand by my earlier guess.

Merlin already has his so that is so true about the normals
