Posted July 11, 200618 yr This is one of the favorite pastimes of my birds...and one of the few times more than one bird was allowed on at a time, LOL. Normally one bird claims the entire window as her territory and will chase off any other that dare encroach upon this prime piece of window real estate. I had to put a towel along the top because they try to eat whatever is behind that top strip. I'm not tall enough to see what it is, so I have no idea what is so enticing. Whatever it is, it's good enough for somebudgie to remove the towel. "...oh, okay, you can share this window, but you must stay on the lower level because I want to be top bird today..." "well, she can have the blinds, I found something better..." "...what is she doing up there??? ..." "...Like she thought she could have this spot....hmph!..."
July 11, 200618 yr There are so sweet However, I always find it hard to clean bird poop off the blinds, hopefully they behaved themselves.
July 11, 200618 yr Ozzie's started smooshing himself between the blinds too....but ours are wooden....and he chews.
July 11, 200618 yr Great photos.. ours loves the blind too.. he tries nibbling at the string that holds the slats together!
July 12, 200618 yr Author Thanks! They do like to chew the string that holds the blinds in place. So far no damage though. They are entertaining little birds.

July 14, 200618 yr Author Have I seriously missed something Ann - Budgies Kept 4!!! Where are the rest of the gang - did something happen to them. Are they okay? Good point Booms. Where are the rest Rainbow? They are all okay, they just have new homes. I won't go into it, but it was a necessity. I keep in touch about the birds, and all are doing well and making other people very happy. Great pics! You have such pretty birds. Do your girls miss the others? The girls do miss the others, but are very much enjoying themselves with less competition for food and attention.
