Has anyone given their birds chilli peppers, Ive been told the budgies love them but Im not so sure

I never have, but they are not harmful to them at all.

Wouldn't they be too spicy? Or are we thinking of different things?

yep I have!! and they love it!! Make sure their little beakies don't touch any part of you that you don't want burning sensation after they've had it!!!

Ive never fed it to my budgies buy my African Grey loves the dried chilli peppers that come in his mix.

 

So they do not feel that awful burning sensation we do them - how weird is that.

Actually it's not weird at all. Nature intended the birds to eat the chilli fruit to disperse the seeds far and wide through their droppings.
