Posted June 12, 200619 yr Having this tree (playgym) has certainly made it easier for me to get flying pics of the birds. Tweety and Sylvester are the most adventurous and will sometimes leave the dining room. Before I let them out I run around the house and make sure all the upstairs doors are closed so I don't lose track of them up there, make sure all the ceiling fans are off, the bathroom door downstairs is closed, the fliplocks are on the outside doors, so no one can opem them accidently. It is a lot of work to protect them, but I love to give them out time. Here are Sylvester and Tweety flying about. And here is Max having fun on the ladder. It's acrylic and a bit slippery. I scraped it up so they would have better grip. And Tweety chewing the **** out of a branch. They love chewing on the tree! Edited June 12, 200619 yr by Shawna
June 12, 200619 yr Sooo pretty Shawna! How about new pics of each bird? I REALLY want to see Bella, Wylie, Romeo and Jewel Whenever you have time... Thanks! Kirby
June 15, 200619 yr Hi Shawna, Great photos! What kind of tree is it? Is it a live tree or just some branches in your house for them to play on? I would like to do that for my birds - when they come out they sit on the curtain rail but your gym looks way more entertaining! Also what is the correct way to describe your Max s colour - he is very simaler to my baby boy budgie Biff. Thanks Laura

I put it in a pot and hung a bunch of stuff on it. They love it. Check out this post - http://forums.budgiebreeders.asn.au/index....showtopic=10183 My little max is apparently a yellow face mauve dominant pied. He is striking. A lot of my birds are dilutes or white based, and his colour always catches my eye. He's still got his sweet baby look too! I would love to see a picture of Bif!
June 16, 200619 yr Great pics Shawna, Ive been re arranging my lounge room since I saw your inside tree trying to get one in my lounge room..hehe
June 16, 200619 yr Hi Shawna, Here is a picture of Biff - I think he is more turquoise than mauve like Max, now I have had a closer look at your pictures. He is about 10months old,
June 17, 200619 yr Biff looks like a yellowface type 1 sky blue, with a little bit of violet on him. He is quite dark for a sky blue, almopst cobalt, but because his violet doesn't go all the way through his body he can't be a cobalt. What does every one else think? What does every one else think? Well he is definately different than Max. Max looks grey and that is what I thought he was when I bought him. Biff I would agree is a yf1 sky. I have a cobalt and her colour is much darker with lots of violet throughout. Biff is very gorgeous though!!!!!
