    I have a male budgie and he flies around the room for more than 4 hours a day. I talk to him and play with him for 2 hours every day. Am I spending enough time with my budgie to keep him happy?

    I don't have enough time to devote my budgie anymore so I am considering getting a companion for him. I don't really want to lose the bond we created so maybe a cockatiel would be a better choice? People say that I have to spend even more time with them if I get a cockatiel as a companion bird. In my case, this not possible. Should I get another budgie instead?
