    Taming Budgie

    Hi guys! I bought my budgie, Fred, in March 2016. He was about 4 months old when I bought him and I've tried everything to tame him and it's not working. I've tried leaving my hand in the cage 3 times a day and nothing happened. At one point I had him eating millet while I held it but he randomly stopped doing this. So I took a step back with him and there hasn't been any progress. I've searched around and tried literally everything I could find and I don't know what else to do. He plays with his toys, eats, drinks, and sings while I'm in my room with him so I know he's comfortable. He's fine with my face being near the cage talking to him and whistling (he RARELY whistles back) but he freaks out when I try to touch him. Would getting him a budgie friend make it worse? I don't know what else to do! PLEASE HELP! Thank you in advance!
