Anyone hazard a guess what the average might be, does anyone have any idea of the amount of birds he keeps? I am seriously thinking about making the 10 hour trek up the Hume. I have been out of the game for a few years and promised myself that if I got back it I would use his birds as my foundation. I would probably have to get some cages, and maybe an aviary first

Hi all, have bred and exibited birds before but took a few years off due to work and family commitments. I am planning to have another go next season as my circumstances have changed to give me some more freedom and space. Incredibly my favourite breeder Mark Chidel is selling out. I found out when I punched in the words "Mark Chidel auction" into google and it lead me here. I was hoping to see that he has some birds at some auction somewheres so I was surprised to see that he was selling out. Whether I can find the time or fistfuls of cash to go and bid is another question. Cheers Dan
