New budgies

Hi, hopefully I've posted these photos correctly! I'm just trying to confirm whether my new budgie is male or female. I'm thinking maybe female because of the whiteness of the cere. I still have a lot to learn about budgies though. We got a young male (about 3 months old) a few weeks ago and decided he was far too lonely so this is his new friend. Apparently he/she is about three months old also. There are still some faint lines on the head. I'd be very grateful if anyone can help out.
