I have a budgie, Old mate and i was just wondering if anyone knew what the ring number means? i tried to figure it out myself on the FAQS section but couldnt ring no. DM 10 027 The 10 is on its side and is much smaller then the other numbers. How old is she? because i dont want to breed a budgie under a year old georgie, it is a purple ring but it says 10 so? i'm confusing myself

Hi well before I start getting really busy getting lots of budgies I was wondering- a) what do you guys do to keep your budgies healthy and happy? b ) What are the most common/ deadly parasites (like lice and worms) and how do I treat them? c) how often do I need to treat these things? d) What are important things I need for an aviary of budgies? e) And what do I need to include in my first aid kit? thanks for the advice, I've got a lamp over her and the food and water in as usual. I'm watching her very carefully. But I noticed when I was catching her that she couldn't fly and landed straight on the ground. She has also lost most of her tail and wing feathers. Her eye is also unusual as she keeps blinking and it looks as though its been hurt. I think she was attacked by some miner birds. :'( I think I need a new aviary. My mum and dad said I could but they're not sure any more because we are doing renovations. But I think we are getting it after renos and when we get some of our backyard cemented. Hopefuly I can so I don't have more escapees etc.

hi everyone, Well a couple of days ago my beautiful budgie snowpeel escaped the aviary. We searched everywhere to find where she got out but couldn't find it. Well yesterday my sister found snowpeel on the grass. I was gone so she just put her back in the aviary. She seems very sick and hasn't moved from her spot since yesterday and is always sleeping. What do i have to do to make her into a healthier budgie? and do i have to hand feed her because i haven't een her eat or drink since yesterday? Thanks,

As some of you know my budgie, Fly has scaly face mites. The medicine i am giving her says to give it to her for 3-4 days. Yesterday was the 4th day and it is still not fully healed should I give her the medicine any way? or will it heal if i don't? Georgie,
