  2. highest priced bird sold for $1800.00 there were not many that exceeded $300.00. a lot of birds in the $20.00 to $200.00 range. prices were probably lower than normal due to the ross loats auction this sunday. robd
  3. yes i will be attending .then off to brisbane for the wynnum auction on the 10th april. then united auction on the first of may. then melton on the 13th june. i will see how we go we usually get most prices paid down on paper. as far as quality , you will just have to trust my eye.
  4. i heard from joe. you may be right. i will just get some from here to start with and see what develops in the future. i would like some with different bloodlines still though.
  5. very correct nubbly5. it is written in the ANBC STANDARD disqualification clauses.
  6. thanks for that nubbly5 . i have twice emailed him with no response as yet. i would be interested in buying what he has. but , i can`t wait for too long. i have a need for them soon as this variety is going to be taken on by me with some assistance from other club members. so if i don`t hear from joe soon i will need to move on as time waits for no one , especially the elderly. robd.
  7. cool , my day is now complete are you not coming here for easter. kaz , as is her way , reminded me of a fallow breeder i had completely missed. he has the old brett wood line , an excellent line of fallows. i have emailed him as these will be a different bloodline , thats what i want. waiting for a reply. thanks kaz ( what you don`t know aint worth knowing) i am i am i was wondering if i still was invited and even when it is i am not a person that celebrates Easter as such its usually mum ringing me up saying you know Easters tomorrow and a mad dash down street to grab a few googys for the kids :} so i want to be prepared its a long travel down and i want to leave early to beat the idiots im getting a house sitter for the weekend hee hee so my birds are okay :}

  11. i sure hope it is a big venue. it seems half of australia is attending this one. understandable considering the quality of the birds on offer. well done to the organisers. yes , i will be there. robd.

  13. your birds were delivered to the airport at 5.30 am , now waiting for their flight to perth. i left them in the garage over night with the lights on so they had a chance to eat and drink before being boxed up. they all looked well before being boxed. rob.
  14. if my d/f y/f hen and violet dark green cock don`t lift their game i might have to try twisting your arm ( with $$$$$$) of course.
