    What Kind?

    Hi everyone! I'm not a really a bird person, so I have a question for you.... I got to my place of business & there was a parakeet perched on top of our door. Talked to him for awhile & he finally came down & settled on my shoulder. He was banded - but I found out that that's usually something the pet shops - or whoever sold him - does. But here's my question - he was white with a light lavander going through - small - maybe 5 or 6 inches. Does anyone know what type he is? I found him a home with someone that has birds. He was SOOO friendly! I would have kept him, but I have 2 cats and it wouldn't be fair to the bird.... I kinda miss him... - his demeanor might even turn me into a bird person in the future! Thanks!
