these cages are fantastic! a great investment for a long lived and happy budgie, so well worth it if you can save up. I think i will get that cage, i have $100 saved up so far! Do you have to make it yourself??? I'll get my bf to make it. Im clueless about all that stuff. I dont have a credit card or debit card but mum does so i'll give her the money when i have it. Thanks! P.S When i get it and with the 2 budgies in the cage i will add a photo to this link. Oh definatly more room to put toys! I only have 2 toys and only 1 fits in the cage (swing) and the other outside of the cage.

I have a wide cage but its small so going to buy a bigger cage, I leave the door open all the time and they fly around the room and land on top of the cage, which they spend most of the time on top.

If Pebbles is a boy Im going to call him Bam Bam instead of Pebbles, if its a girl, Pebbles Pebbles for now though. Pebbles let me pat her belly last night usualy she wouldnt let me and just run away.

I love that cage! but still pretty expensive. It didnt say how much the delivery will cost along with it.

Sparky on the left and Pebbles on the right. Is it normal for them to fight over the food and swing? Sparky is still getting used 2 Pebbles. Its sooo cute Pebbles follows Sparky everywhere!

i know its a parrot cage but i want a cage on wheels so when they make a mess on the floor i can move the cage and vacume the floor. Edit: I have two baby budgies one is 6 months old and the other one is around 4 months old.

Okay thanks Kaz. I'll get my bf to do it, I'm not keen on clipping the wing. Does it hurt the bird??? And why do they balance on one leg? Sparky does that alot. Hes soo cute and funny he turns around and around on the perch lol.... I'm teaching him to say Hello Sweetie and he nearly said it today hes a fast learner! I put in a treat for Sparky and he flapped around the cage. So i just started singing to him to calm him down. How long does it take to tame the budgie???

hes not tame yet. He was scared of the sheet i put over the cage last night so I took it of.

I got my baby budgie i dont know how many weeks old he is. Hes light blue and white and a very quiet baby! I called him Sparky after my boyfriends nickname. I did take a photo of Sparky but I cant find the cord to download the pictures onto my laptop!!! Hes not tame yet. Got the wing cut though.

great names everyone! when i get the budgie i dont know when! i defintly will post a picture and have a naming competition! I like those names anne! specialy Droopy LooLoo and Mr Grump! lol

How did you name your budgie? by personaility, additude, ? fave famouse person their colour? Fave cartoon charactor? I cannot think of any good names for a budgie boy need help on a name.

Its really hot here where i am like 37 degrees outside and hot inside i have the air con on I was wondering what are the hot and cold tempratures that budgies can handle??? I would put the fan on but worried about budgie flying into the fan????? (havnt got the budgie yet) Just would like to know before I get one and what other safety lessons to learn about????

Thats sooo sad Kirsty!!! Im sorry about Budget! Cute name though! I havent got a budgie yet going to soon maybe this weekend. My boyfriend is going to start breeding them again. He knows alot about budgies so he can help me. My friend was asleep and she heard banging (she dosnt know how long the banging went for) she woke up and found her budgie charlie in the bin with the lid shut. So she gave poor charlie a bath... Lucky she wsnt in the bin for long!

That sounds sooo cute! The cage i have is near my dining table im planning to put a ladder across or a plank from cage to table for the bdugie to go onto the table for his playgym when i get the play gym. or not he can just fly over. i sooo cant wait for my budgie!!!
